Although it is not recommended to keep most butterflies with corals because they tend to peck at them, it is worth considering that this is the food that forms their staple diet in the wild, and because of this these fish will thrive in a heavily stocked reef aquarium, where they can graze on a few corals without causing much if any major damage.
No doubt many will disagree with this theory, but we are giving our opinion on how to ensure these fish survive in captivity.
